Question about the KN Cabber 6

My sister surprised me with a KN Cabber 6 for my birthday last week. Cheers to 40, I guess. It's just today that I got to fully look at it and now I'm browsing polishing disc options. Feeling kinda overwhelmed, to be honest so I'm here.

The unit came with 6 wheels and a cerium oxide disc, but I'd like to be set up for a good range of stones. Should I stick with classic compounds to start, or go straight for finer diamond discs?

I'd say don't rush into all diamond right away unless you know the stones you'll mostly be working with demand it. If it were me starting fresh, I'd build out slowly maybe one or two diamond discs for harder stones, but keep cerium in the rotation for finishing glassy stuff.

That's great advice. Don't rush into buying a bunch of diamond discs right away. Begin with the basics see which stones you use most often and then you can always get more later
