Replacing my blades

Thinking of replacing my old 12" blade with a MK-401 for cutting Montana moss agate, I have used a segmented blade before. Just wondering if you have any recommendations, I prefer something that is okay to use with mineral oil. Thanks in advance for any advice!

MK 401 is a pretty good choice for Montana moss agate, its continuous rim offers smoother cuts compared to segmented blades, which can be a bit rougher on delicate stones. Using mineral oil as a coolant works well with the MK 401 since it helps reduce heat and keeps the blade lubricated

I agree, it plays nicely with mineral oil, which helps extend blade life. If you're after cleaner cuts, consider checking out continuous rim blades like the BD-305 as an alternative. Have you noticed any chipping with your current setup?
